THE LATEST NEWS FROM QUICKSILVER and it’S STARS

December 14th, 2021 –

After thirteen years as a boutique booking agency, Quicksilver Productions is hanging up our boots.  What a tremendous ride we’ve had, born of our love for American Roots music and our friends who make it. Inspired by musicians’ musician Caleb Klauder, Martha Dantzic founded Quicksilver Productions in 2008 with a mission to bring Ass Kickin’ American Music to the World!  Soon thereafter, Martha bonded with Coloradan Rob Miller of Pickin’ Productions over Caleb’s iconic album Dangerous Mes & Poisonous Yous.

Rob and Martha officially joined forces in 2011 to bring top notch original Americana music from Europe, Canada and the US to some of the best venues around the globe with talented artists including: Town Mountain, I Draw Slow, Foghorn Stringband, Kaia Kater, Caleb Klauder Country Band, New Country Rehab, Jackstraw, Betse Ellis, Anne & Pete Sibley, Laurie Lewis, Dry Branch Fire Squad, Ben Hunter & Joe Seamons, FY5, Halden Wofford & the HiBeams, Spring Creek, Honey Don't, Dirty Kitchen, Phoebe Hunt and the Blue Canyon Boys.

Known for our passion for exquisite talent, Quicksilver has always put the music first and been honored to work with the best Americana roots festivals and venues to bring thousands of inspirational and explosive performances to the stage over the years.  We treasure our time working in this close-knit industry and the many friendships and trusted relationships we’ve forged.

Building on the strength of our team and partners, Quicksilver is shifting gears to become a non-profit presenting music as The Quicksilver Foundation.  The Quicksilver Foundation’s mission is to “Make the world a more equitable place by building community through music, education and conversation”.  Rob Miller will continue his presenter's work with Pickin’ Productions and partner with the Quicksilver Foundation as our Talent Buyer.  Administrative Director Samantha Schwartz will maintain her role with the Quicksilver Foundation and long time employee Anna Creek will serve in an advisory role.

While our team has been small, our strength has been fierce, our passion has been zealous and our commitment to our artists unmatched.   With the undauntable Sam Schwartz wrangling our administrative side, Quicksilver built our strength as a team by working together with the same crew for most of the last 10 years. Our good fortune included the amazingly organized Jill Murphy for 5 years and Anna Creek’s sizzling and shrewd insight for the better part of 10  years.

Join us in raising a glass to Quicksilver Productions and the Ass Kickin’ Music we've brought to the world. The Quicksilver Foundation looks forward to working with you all, with our new hats and new boots on, in 2022 and beyond as we strive to make the world a more equitable place by building community through music, education and conversation.  Thank you for being a part of our ride!
