Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen stirred it up at the 2009 International Bluegrass Music Association's World of Bluegrass Conference with several stunning showcase performances, drawing the attention of many. Affirming their ascension on the bluegrass horizon, Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen were named Emerging Artist of the Year by the California Bluegrass Association and invited to perform at their 35th Annual Father's Day Festival in Grass Valley in 2010.
